Coronavirus in Spain: The number of people who died from the Coronavirus epidemic in Spain exceeded 5,600 on Saturday (28 March). A record number of 832 people died in the country within 24 hours. Meanwhile, the government reported that the number of people infected with the deadly virus has exceeded 72,000.


Spain has the highest death rate of Coronavirus in the world after Italy. In Italy, 9,134 people have died from this virus, while 86,498 patients have been infected so far.

In Spain, the infection has been confirmed in 72 thousand 248 people. Although more than 800 cases are being reported daily in Spain, there are signs of new infections coming down. Officials said the epidemic appears to be at its peak. Madrid is the worst affected region, with 2,757 people killed and 21,520 people infected.

At the same time, the Afghanistan administration has imposed a lockdown in the capital Kabul for a period of at least three weeks from Saturday (March 28) due to rising cases of coronavirus in the country. According to Tolo News, the lockdown has been imposed on Friday (March 27) evening after the Ministry of Public Health informed about 15 new cases of coronavirus in the country. Of these 11 cases are from Herat, three from Farah and one from Ghazni. This brings the total number of infections to 110.

The ministry said two foreign diplomats and four service members of NATO’s Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan are among Coronavirus positive cases in the country. So far three deaths in the country have occurred due to coronavirus. Kabul Governor Mohammad Yakub Hydari announced the lockdown on Friday (27 March), stating that all residents should stay home, avoid non-essential activities and avoid standing in groups.
