Badminton player PV Sindhu donates Rs 10 lakh to Chief Minister Relief Fund to fight against Coronavirus


Coronavirus: Indian players have started coming forward and contributing to the fight against Coronavirus. World champion Indian women’s badminton star PV Sindhu has decided to donate Rs 10 lakh in difficult times. Sindhu has donated this amount in the form of five-five lakh rupees to two states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Fund.


PV Sindhu has given information about donating Rs 10 lakh through social media website Twitter. Sindhu said, “To fight the coronavirus, I donate five lakh rupees to the Chief Minister Relief Fund of the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh“.

Before Sindhu, Sourav Ganguly, former captain of Team India and BCCI president, also announced on Wednesday to arrange 50 lakh rupees of rice for the needy. Former sportsman and MP Gautam Gambhir have given Rs 50 lakh from his Parliament fund in the fight against coronavirus.

India’s number one wrestler Bajrang Punia has also come forward in the campaign against Coronavirus. Bajrang Punia decided to die in the fight against his 6-month-old Salary Coronavirus. Tennis star Sania Mirza decided to donate food and other necessities.

13 people have lost their lives

So far 649 cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. 13 people have lost their lives in India due to Coronavirus. There are 43 such patients who have completely recovered after winning the battle with Coronavirus.
