Google has asked its employees not to leave the house unless it is extremely important. The closure of this office of Google is also affecting Hong Kong and Taiwan and Google have also asked its employees of these two countries not to go to China.

Google has four offices in China while five in Taiwan. Sales, engineering and advertising work in Chinese offices. Google has instructed its employees to work from home for the next two weeks.

Also, Google has given two and a half million dollars to the Red Cross Society of China to deal with this virus. Red Cross has already raised half a million dollars to help patients affected by the virus.

Significantly, Google had been trying to work in China for the last several years. In 2010 she stopped her operation there, but then from 2018, she was able to start her operations in China.
