11 CISF personnel deployed at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai have been infected with the coronavirus. A total of 142 jawans have been detained in the last few days.

On Thursday, four of the 142 jawans found the coronavirus positive. At the same time, seven soldiers have been confirmed to be infected today.

The death toll has risen after the death of another coronavirus-infected patient in Palghar, Maharashtra, on Thursday night. In the Mumbai metropolitan area, 11 people have been infected so far in the district and 109 have been sent for examination. 111 people who came into contact with the victims were isolated. Also, about 406 people completed their 14-day observation period.

So far, 2301 reports of coronavirus infection have been reported in the country. These included 336 infected patients excluding the last 24 hours. Health Ministry joint secretary Lav Agarwal says that so far 56 people with coronavirus have died in the country. Of these, 12 people have died in the past 24 hours. He said so far, 156 patients have been discharged from the hospital after being healed after treatment.
