Covid-19 India: The number of people infected with the Coronavirus epidemic, including foreign nationals in India, increased to 37,776 on Saturday (May 2). In the data released on Saturday, the Ministry of Health said that there have been 1223 deaths due to Covid-19 infection in the country and a total of 26,535 people are currently infected with the epidemic.
At the same time, 2411 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 71 people have lost their lives due to this virus. The number of such people has reached 10018 (1 migrated) with 692 people infected with Covid-19 recovering in the last 24 hours.

Highest death in Maharashtra
According to data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday (May 2) at 5 pm, the outbreak of Coronavirus has spread to 33 states and union territories of the country. Maharashtra, the most severely affected by Covid-19, has so far suffered 485 deaths, while the virus has killed 145 people in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, 236 people have died due to infection in Gujarat and 61 in Delhi.
Maharashtra has reported the highest number of 11506 cases of coronavirus infection. After this, Gujarat is second with 4721 cases, Delhi is third with 3738 cases and Madhya Pradesh is fourth with 2719 cases. There have been 82 new cases in Rajasthan during the last 24 hours and the figure has increased to 2666. In the state, the death toll has risen to 62 after the deaths of four more patients.

1116 patients have been cured in the state. The number of infected people has increased to 2455 and the number of dead has increased to 43 after the 47 new infections have been reported in the country’s largest state Uttar Pradesh. So far 656 patients in the state have been discharged from hospital after treatment.
Coronavirus conditions in southern states
In the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, 203 new infections have been reported and the number of infected patients has increased to 2526 and one person has died from Coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the figure has reached 28. So far, 1312 patients have been cured in the state.
1525 people have been infected in Andhra Pradesh and 598 in Karnataka and 33 and 25 people have died in these states respectively. In the southern state of Telangana, the total number of infected has gone up to 1057 and the death toll remains at 26. In Kerala, 498 people have been infected and four people have died.
