New Delhi: The first case of the Coronavirus epidemic in the country came in Kerala on 30 January. Since then, more than 31 thousand cases of this deadly infection have been reported in the country. The number of infected patients is increasing day by day. 1897 new positive cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.


According to the latest data of the Health Ministry, 31 thousand 332 people have been infected so far. At the same time, 1007 people have died. However, 7 thousand 696 people have also recovered. The great thing is that 73 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours.

In which state how many deaths occurred?

According to the Ministry of Health, 400 in Maharashtra, 120 in Madhya Pradesh, 181 in Gujarat, 54 in Delhi, 25 in Tamil Nadu, 26 in Telangana, 31 in Andhra Pradesh, 20 in Karnataka, 34 in Uttar Pradesh, 19 in Punjab, 22 in West Bengal, 51 in Rajasthan, 8 in Jammu and Kashmir, 3 in Haryana, 4 in Kerala, 3 in Jharkhand, 2 in Bihar, one each in Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Odisha.

Now patients are doubling in ten days

The number of Covid-19 infected patients recovering so far in the country is 23.3 percent of the total number of infected patients. It was taking three days before the lockdown to double the number of patients, but now this rate has increased to ten days.

Due to the anti-infection campaign being run at the district level, there are 17 districts in the country, in which not a single case of infection has been reported for the last 28 days. The number of such districts was 16 on Monday. After 25 April, two districts (Kalimpong in West Bengal and Wayanad in Kerala) have been added to this list. At the same time, in Lakhisarai district of Bihar, this district has been left out of this list due to getting infected patients.
