Covid19 Update: 24 suspected patients of Coronavirus shifted in ITBP camp, 21 Italian and 3 Indians


Covid19 Update: Coronavirus panic continues in India for the last few days. So far the virus has been confirmed in six people. Meanwhile, according to information received from government sources, 24 people have been shifted to the ITBP camp in Delhi for investigation. All of them were staying in a hotel in South Delhi.


Of these 24 people, 21 are Italian and three are Indian citizens. The investigation report of these people will come by tomorrow. Till then they have been kept under the supervision of doctors.

Earlier, the DGCA said on Monday that all passengers coming from Italy and Iran would be thermally tested. The statement was released hours after the announcement of two passengers suffering from the virus. Indian airports were already screening passengers arriving from 10 countries, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

At the same time, amidst the worldwide panic of the novel coronavirus (Covid19), the Indian government has also geared up. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the preparations for the coronavirus. Also during the meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, there was a discussion about this.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, ‘There was a comprehensive review of preparations on the coronavirus. Different ministries and states are working together, from screening people in India to providing quick medical care. No need to panic.’
