Janta Curfew: The countrymen tried their best to make the Janta curfew successful on Sunday (March 22) amid the rising outbreak of the Coronavirus. During this time, roads and the market were deserted. At 5 pm on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the countrymen gathered on their balconies and roofs.

All the countrymen showed solidarity by playing clap, thali, bells, and conch for 5 minutes at 5 o’clock. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has made a special appeal to the countrymen in a tweet.

Irfan Pathan tweeted and gave an example of the World Cup and also advised people. He wrote by tweeting – When we won the World Cup in 2007 and 2011, on that night the whole country took to the streets to celebrate the victory.

He further wrote – But don’t do it tonight. We have not yet won the battle against the coronavirus.

At the same time, PM Modi has also appealed that even though today’s Janta curfew will end at 9 pm, it does not mean that we start celebrations. Do not consider it a success. This is the beginning of a long fight. Today the countrymen have proved that we are capable, if we decide, we can beat the biggest challenge together.

He said that the instructions issued by the central government and state governments must be followed. In districts and states where lockdowns have been announced, do not leave homes at all. Apart from this, do not get out of the houses unless it is very necessary for the rest.
