Delhi Election 2020, AAP Candidates List: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its candidates for all 70 seats for the Delhi Assembly Election 2020. The party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will again contest from the New Delhi seat. Apart from him, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be the party’s candidate from Patparganj and Health Minister Satyendar Jain from Shakur Basti.

Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot will try his luck from Najafgarh and vice-chairman of Delhi Jal Board, Dinesh Mohania from Sangam Vihar. Party’s national spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj will contest from Greater Kailash, Dilip Pandey from Timarpur, party spokesman Raghav Chadha from Rajinder Nagar and Atishi Kalkaji. The party has cut the ticket of 15 MLAs.

The party has given the ticket to Ram Singh, who left Congress and joined Aam Aadmi Party, from Badarpur and Vinay Kumar Mishra, son of Congress leader Mahabal Mishra, from Dwarka. Apart from these, the party has also fielded Shoaib Iqbal from Matia Mahal.

The Aam Aadmi Party has given a lot of tickets to women. The party has given tickets to women in eight of the 70 seats. Among them, the most talked-about Rakhi Birlan has got a ticket from Mangolpuri and the party has fielded from Atishi and Kalkaji. Apart from these, Bandana Kumari from Shalimar Bagh, Dhanwati Chandela from Rajouri Garden, Rajkumari Dhillon from Harinagar, Bhavna Gaur from Palam, Pramila Tokas from RK Puram and Sarita Singh from Rohtas Nagar have been given tickets.

These Muslim candidates will also try their luck

The AAP has placed bets on five Muslim candidates. These include Shoaib Iqbal from Matia Mahal, Imran Hussain from Ballimaran, Amanatullah Khan from Okhla, Abdul Rahman from Seelampur and Haji Yunus from Mustafabad.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia admitted that the party had conducted the survey after the announcement of the election. Candidates have been selected on the basis of survey and ground report.
