Kanhaiya has also said that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is working to put oil in the fire. While addressing a rally against the CAA and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) on Tuesday at Pathri in Parbhani, Maharashtra, Kanhaiya alleged that Modi and Shah had tried to create a confrontation between Hindus and Muslims during the Gujarat elections. Now they are trying the same tactics in the country.
