Famous chef Floyd Cardoz, owner of The Bombay Canteen has reportedly died due to Coronavirus


Famous chef Floyd Cardoz died after being infected with the Coronavirus. Giving information about his death, his company Hunger Inc. said he has breathed his last on 25 March. His family reports that Cardoz died in a hospital in New Jersey.


The founder of Hunger Inc. is Floyd Cardoz’s The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro has restaurants in Mumbai and Goa. He recently started Bombay Sweet Shop. He is survived by his mother Beryl, wife Barkha and his two sons Justin and Peter.

Floyd Cardoz was born in Mumbai and was in the city till March 8. On March 18, he informed through his social media account that he had admitted himself to a hospital in New York. At the same time, Danny Meyer has also mourned the death of his business partner Floyd Cardoz.

Earlier, Hunger Inc. issued a statement that Floyd Cardoz was found infected with Covid-19 in New York and all people who contacted him were asked to take precautions.
