The Union Home Ministry has taken a big step regarding the Tablighi Jamaat. According to the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs, people who are promoting missionary activities on tourist visa irrespective of the form, are considered as a violation of tourist visa. Along with this, according to the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it is not allowed to conduct tabloid activities on tourist visas. Whatever is found in the foreigners who are in this group, they will be sent back to their country immediately from the first flight.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, at present, there are about 2000 foreigners all over the country, who have come from 70 countries related to Tablighi Jamat. These people attended a meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the first week of March. It is here that they are likely to suffer from Coronavirus. All these foreign nationals are on a 2 to 6 months tourist visa. Most of these foreign nationals are from Bangladesh (493), Indonesia (472), Malaysia (150) and Thailand (142). His period of stay in this country is for six months.
