IND vs NZ 1st T20: India started its first overseas tour of the year 2020 with a win. In the first match of the five-match T20 series played in Auckland on Friday, Virat Sena won the match by six wickets. Team India, chasing New Zealand’s target of 203 runs, won the match with six balls remaining. New Zealand also gave a tough fight under the captaincy of Kane Williamson, but these five Indian players turned the match towards Team India.

KL Rahul

KL Rahul, who came out to bat for the team, once again appeared in color and scored a lot of runs in batting. Rahul scored 56 crucial runs in just 27 balls with a strike rate of 207 with the help of four fours and three sixes. Rahul, along with Virat, shared a brisk 99-run partnership for the second wicket.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer, who once again came to bat at number four from the team, batted tremendously in difficult times and scored an unbeaten 58 runs in just 29 balls. He was unbeaten in the innings with five fours and three sixes and won the team in the match. Iyer, who won India by blowing a six, was also awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ award.

In IND vs NZ 1st T20 match, captain Virat Kohli‘s bat once again spoke fiercely and he scored 45 runs in 32 balls with the help of three fours and a six. Though he missed his half-century but chasing the target, he formed an important partnership with Rahul.

Shivam Dubey

All-rounder Shivam Dubey performed with both the ball and bat. He broke Martin Guptill, breaking New Zealand’s big partnership in bowling, caught a catch and scored 13 runs in nine balls at-bat as well.

Jaspreet Bumrah

The team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah once again bowled brilliantly for the team. He conceded just four runs in the crucial 18th over and also took a wicket. In the economy too, he was very economical and took a wicket for 31 runs in four overs.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Apart from these, spin bowler Yuzvendra Chahal bowled economically in the high scoring match and took one wicket for 32 runs in the four overs bowled. Chahal sent the batting captain Williamson to the pavilion for 51 runs. Along with this, he also caught a great catch of Munro.
