IPL 2020: The Chennai Super Kings’ camp for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) preparations began on 2 March. The camp was attended by veterans like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Piyush Chawla, but due to Coronavirus, CSK has stopped their practice session and asked the players to go back home. In such a situation, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also left Chennai. Meanwhile, a video of Dhoni’s wicketkeeping practice is going viral on social media.


Actually, Mahendra Singh Dhoni does not practice wicketkeeping. There is hardly any picture or video of him practicing wicketkeeping. Dhoni has not played cricket since the ICC ODI World Cup 2019. In such a situation, the fans are eagerly waiting to see Dhoni back on the cricket field.

Three-time IPL title-winning captain Dhoni is no longer part of Team India. Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have taken over the responsibility of wicket-keeper. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also batted fiercely at the net during the practice session. Dhoni has been a part of CSK since the beginning of the IPL. He played for Pune Supergiants during the ban on the team for just two years. Dhoni has also made CSK a three-time champion under his captaincy.

Dhoni recently said on the sports channel show that CSK not only made me a better player but also helped me in dealing with difficult times. Today I am like a cricketer and a human being, my credit goes to my IPL franchise. This team-taught me to be humble even after being successful.

The official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings tweeted, “Chennai has become your home sir.” The Chennai Super Kings had postponed their practice and sent all the players back. Chennai’s practice started in the first week of March and was to last until March 19 but was already postponed due to the IPL being suspended.

Explain that due to Coronavirus, IPL 2020 has been postponed till April 15. The 13th season of the IPL was to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 29 March. The opening match was to be played between Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings.
