Jamia Protest: The Twitter war continues over the video of the library of Jamia Millia Islamia University, which witnessed the Jamia protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. A video surfaced this morning, in which the Delhi Police is seen allegedly lathi-charging students inside the library. At the same time, by the evening another CCTV footage became increasingly viral on Twitter, in which protesters are seen entering the library.

This video is being told by the police before the alleged lathi-charge. Stones are also seen in the hands of the protesters in the viral video.

In the second video, about 50 protesters suddenly enter the library. During this time stones are seen in the hands of some, while the faces of some are covered. There is also an attempt to close the library from inside.

Both videos are said to be footage of CCTV installed in the library. The second video is about two minutes. ‘Daily Xpress News’ does not confirm any of the videos.

Political politics is also being done in this matter. On social media, people lashed out at the Delhi Police harshly. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi also jumped into the allegation. She accused the Home Minister and Delhi Police officials of lying.

‘It is clear from the video that stones are sitting in the library’

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya claimed on Sunday (February 16) that the video that came out of the alleged police brutality in Jamia Millia Islamia showed that there were true ‘stoners’ sitting in the library.

In a tweet, Malaviya tagged the video, claiming that the students sitting in the library were wearing masks and were reading closed books. He said that those students are looking towards the door with ‘complete readiness’ and not studying comfortably in the library.

Malaviya said that the rioters did not attempt to hide their identity in the library after the stone-pelting? He said, “It is good for Jamia’s rioters that they themselves have revealed their identity.”
