Jammu & Kashmir: Three personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force have been killed in the terrorist attack on Monday in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, while seven soldiers are said to be injured. He said that some civilians were taken hostage by the terrorists hiding in a house in Chandmulla area of ​​Handwara in Kupwara district of North Kashmir and Colonel Sharma was leading the team to free the citizens. Officials said that when the hostages were being rescued, the militants opened heavy fire on the rescue team. The security personnel retaliated. The rescue team also included a lance hero and a rifleman. Officials said security forces started a major operation in the early hours of Sunday as they had no contact with the colonel or his team. Two terrorists have also been killed in the encounter.
