JNU Violence: NSUI and ABVP Workers Clashed With Each Other in Ahmedabad, Gujrat: The controversy over the clash at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has now reached Gujarat. ABVP and NSUI students clashed in Ahmedabad in the state on Tuesday. Both groups came face to face with Ahmedabad ABVP office after which stone sticks were fired from both sides. At the same time, the shameful incident of NSUI activist Nikhil Savani being stabbed has come to light.

The NSUI has accused the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists of stabbing. The organization has demanded the resignation of BJP national president Amit Kumar in protest against the incident. Nikhil Savani’s condition is stated to be critical. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ahmedabad. No response has been received from the ABVP on this incident.

In fact, the fight took place at the time when there was a protest against the JNU violence outside the ABVP office in Ahmedabad in the state. Just then, the NSUI and ABVP activists clashed fiercely. Workers of both the parties started lathi on each other.

NSUI National Secretary Simon Farooqui said that his activists organized a protest outside the ABVP’s office on Tuesday morning to protest against the violence against students in JNU. According to Farooqui, at the start of this protest, the activists of ABVP started beating him. His workers were beaten up with sticks and wands.

It is alleged that despite the presence of the police, the ABVP activists attacked them with deadly blows. Meanwhile, NSUI activist Nikhil Savani was stabbed by someone. His condition is stated to be critical.

Farooqui said that the attack on JNU students is going to weaken the foundation of the country’s education system and democracy. By now it has become clear that the BJP has proved absolutely unsuccessful in giving peace and stability to the country.

In such a situation, the BJP has no right to remain in power. He said that NSUI demands the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah in protest against this attack as peace cannot be established in the country until his resignation.
