New Delhi: To overcome the coronavirus crisis, the Maharashtra government has announced a grant of Rs 2000 to 12 lakh construction workers registered in the state. State Labor Minister Dilip Walse Patil gave this information. This amount will be directly transferred to their account. With the arrival of 118 new cases of infection with the coronavirus in Maharashtra on Friday, 3,320 people have been confirmed infected in the state so far.

At the same time, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said today that some industrial and commercial activities will start from April 20 but it will be based on following the rules laid down for the prevention/elimination of coronavirus. A Health Department official said today that seven people died of the infection in the state on Friday, so far 201 people have died due to infection.
He said that after treatment, 331 people have returned home from their infection. So far 61,740 people have been screened for Coronavirus infection. He stated that five of the seven people who died were from Mumbai and had diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
So far, 3,320 cases of infection have been confirmed in the state, of which 2,085 are from Mumbai. At the same time, 122 people died in Mumbai city out of a total of 201 deaths. There are 330 prohibited areas in the state and 5,850 survey teams have investigated over 20 lakh people.
