Nizamuddin Markaz Case: A case has been filed against Maulana Saad and others of Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz case. A case has been registered under the Pandemic Act 1897 and other sections of the IPC. There is also a matter of violation of the government instructions given to the Nizamuddin Markaz of the township. According to sources, this case will be sent to the Crime Branch of Delhi and arrest will be made soon.


Let me tell you that earlier today, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he had written a letter to the Deputy Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal on Monday to file an FIR. He told that 1548 people have been evacuated from Markaz. Symptoms of coronavirus have been found in 441 people. All have been admitted to the hospital.

1107 people who did not have symptoms have been sent to Quarantine. He said that out of 97 cases in Delhi, 24 cases are of Nizamuddin Markaz. 41 have traveled abroad and 22 are family members of foreign travelers. 10 cases have not been detected yet.

In fact, late Sunday night, the Delhi Police got the news that symptoms of coronavirus were seen in many people in the Nizamuddin area. Delhi Police and CRPF officials arrived here with a medical team and after closing the area took people for a test. Many people have been tested. The entire area is sealed.

It has the main center of Tablighi Jamaat, adjoining Nizamuddin Police Station of this center and the Dargah of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya next door. Police say that they have identified people and are sending them to the hospital for quarantine.
