One more death due to coronavirus infection, 173 cases of COVID-19 reported so far


Coronavirus Outbreak: Another person has died due to coronavirus infection. One each has died in Karnataka, Punjab, Maharashtra, and Delhi. The latest case is that of Nawanshahr in Punjab, where a man recently returned from Germany and Italy died. The police administration has laid siege to the village of Pathalawa, the deceased Baldev Singh (age 70 years).


So far, 173 people have been found infected with COVID-19 across the country and 25 of them are foreign nationals. Four people have died. 20 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment and currently, there are a total of 149 active patients who are being treated in different hospitals across the country.

Maharashtra has the highest number of infected people in the country. 47 people are being treated here. At the same time, coronavirus infection has been found in 27 people in Kerala. 14 cases have been reported in Karnataka, 12 in Delhi, 16 in Uttar Pradesh, eight in Ladakh, four in Jammu and Kashmir, three in Haryana and two in Punjab.

Talking about countries around the world, more than two lakh people have been infected with the coronavirus. According to news agency AFP, the death toll from the coronavirus has crossed 9,000.
