Rally in Ramlila: PM Security, Snipers, and Commandos Deployed after Intelligence Alert: Assembly elections have been set in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will convene the BJP’s election campaign on Sunday through a thanksgiving rally at Ramlila Maidan. The state BJP has completed preparations for this. With an 8-foot-high and 80-foot-tall platform, the Prime Minister will address a crowd of thousands. The state BJP will also hand over 11.5 lakh thank-you signatures to the thanksgiving rally for authorizing unauthorized colonies. For the first time in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a non-election rally.
The locations around Ramlila Maidan have been declared a no-fly zone by the central security agencies. This is because agencies have received such inputs that some people may try to disrupt Prime Minister Modi’s rally. Around 5,000 security personnel, snipers and traffic security personnel will be deployed around the Ramlila ground under the Prime Minister’s security.

The Delhi Police says that the National Security Guard (NSG) anti-aircraft and anti-drone squads have been deployed to avoid any airstrikes. Delhi Police spokesman Mandeep Singh Randhawa said that three levels of security have been put in place to deal with any untoward incident. Which includes officers from the Special Protection Group (SPG) and Delhi Police.

Randhawa said that the SPG commandos will make the inner circle of the security cover, while the officers of Delhi Police will remain in the middle circle. At the same time, local police personnel will be stationed in the outer circle. He said that section 144 is not applicable in or around Ramlila Maidan. In fact, after Friday prayers, there was a protest in Daryaganj regarding the citizenship law.
Randhawa said that section 144 is applicable only in the areas around the Red Fort. 20 Deputy Commissioners have been deployed at Ramlila Maidan. Around 2,000 personnel of the Central Security Force such as Rapid Action Force and Central Reserve Security Force have been deployed at the rally site. This deployment is in addition to the commandos of Delhi Police and Central Security Agencies.
The security wing officer of Delhi Police said that every person attending the rally will have to show his valid identity card only then he will be allowed to go inside. He said, ‘They will be properly examined before giving admission. Metal detector doors have been installed at every gate. A special entrance and emergency exit gate have been made for senior dignitaries and VVIPs.
