New Delhi: The risk of coronavirus infection is also increasing for Lalu Prasad Yadav, admitted in the Paying Ward of RIMS. A patient admitted to the unit of Dr. Umesh Prasad, who treated him on Monday, has been found positive for about three weeks. After this, along with Dr. Umesh Prasad’s unit, 22 senior doctors, PG students, and personnel of the Department of Medicine have given their sample to investigate Coronavirus.

Now on taking a sample of Lalu Prasad, RIMS Director Dr. DK Singh said that Lalu Prasad’s sample will be taken only after the recommendation of the doctor treating Lalu Prasad.

Dr. Singh said that according to ICMR’s guideline, Lalu Prasad Yadav will also be screened if any infection is confirmed after the report of doctors of the unit where Lalu Prasad is being treated. The doctor also said that the doctor has not come in direct contact with Lalu Prasad since the corona infection has spread. Two to three minutes from a distance, they return after talking about the disease. Everyone in the unit has sampled a corona investigation. The report will come by tomorrow, after which a decision will be taken on taking samples of Lalu Prasad.

Lalu Yadav did not get parole:
In the first week of April, a high-level meeting was held in Jharkhand jails to ensure that the Covid-19 infection did not spread. It was decided in the meeting that parole will not be given to the economic crime and those convicted for more than seven years.

At the same time, except for serious criminal cases, the government will not oppose the parole of prisoners with a lesser sentence of seven years. Lalu Prasad’s parole has been suspended after a high-level meeting. Lalu Prasad did not get parole due to being accused of economic offenses. High court Justice SC Mishra, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Jail IG Shashi Ranjan, and Secretary of Dalsa were present in the meeting.
