Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has announced an interesting task for the people amid lockdown ahead of the launch of his upcoming web production horror series ‘Betaal‘ on Saturday. He wants people to make ‘horror’ indoor films. The three winners will get a chance to talk on a video call with this Bollywood superstar.
Sharing information about the initiative, SRK wrote on social media, “Since we all got a little time in our hands during the quarantine, I thought we all should do a little bit of work. That too in a fun, creative, and scary way.”
He further wrote, “How about the idea of making a horror indoor film with a creepy element.” People can send their work to Team Digital Red Chillies.com by May 18. Materials sent will be seen by ‘Betaal’ co-director Patrick Graham, cast members Vineet Kumar and Ahana Kumra, and Red Chillies Entertainment and the show’s producer Gaurav Verma.
Shah Rukh Khan also said, “Ghosts can also send their entries.” SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Netflix, SK Global, and Blumhouse Productions are collaborating together in this project.
Due to the lockdown across the country, where the shooting of the film has postponed the release of many big films, the digital platform is constantly serving new web series to the audience. The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming Netflix web series ‘Betaal’ has been released that may be one of the best web series.
Let us tell you that this series is being brought to you by Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies. This is the second web series of Red Chillies after ‘Bard of Blood’. This web series titled Betaal is going to be streamed on Netflix on May 24.
