Share Market Reaches an All-Time High Today, Sensex Reaches 41,798: On the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market opened with a slight increase. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex opened at 41,747.84 after gaining 73.92 points, or 0.18 percent. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened at 12,269.20, after gaining 9.50 points or 0.08 percent. After this, the Sensex jumped 124.14 points to open the all-time high of 41,798.06 as soon as the market opened. The Nifty climbed 12.25 points to reach its record peak of 12,271.95.

Talking about the big stocks, the shares of SBI, Infratel, Tata Motors, HCL Tech, Zee Limited, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports, Infosys, Vedanta Limited and Titan opened on the green mark. On the other hand, the declining giants, include Yes Bank, Britannia, Sun Pharma, M&M, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, JSW Steel, and Cipla.

If we look at the sectoral index, today IT, metal, auto and PSU banks opened on the green mark. Realty, pharma, media, FMCG and private banks opened on the red mark.
