Kamal Nath Government Floor Test in Madhya Pradesh

Suspense on floor test to be held in Madhya Pradesh; it is not on the agenda of the assembly


Madhya Pradesh: The political crisis in Madhya Pradesh is not taking its name. The suspense remains on the majority test of the Kamal Nath government on Monday i.e. on Monday, because floor test is not mentioned in the assembly’s agenda. The news agency ANI has shared the agenda letter, which does not mention the majority test to be held in Madhya Pradesh tomorrow.

The Monday agenda of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly only mentions the speech of Governor Lalji Tandon and the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address. There is no mention of floor test anywhere. Let it be said that there is news that tomorrow the Kamal Nath government has to undergo a strength test in the assembly.


Actually, the Vidhan Sabha session is starting from 16 March in Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, the BJP has issued a whip to its MLAs to be compulsorily present in the house and vote in favor of the party during the trust vote.


Narottam Mishra, chief whip of the BJP Legislature Party, issued the whip to the party MLAs on Sunday. A whip has been issued to the MLAs to compulsorily attend the budget session starting March 16 and vote in favor of the BJP in the government’s power test.

In view of the political turmoil that has been going on in Madhya Pradesh for the last few days, the BJP has kept its MLAs presently in a hotel in Gurugram, Haryana, to keep them united. State Governor Lalji Tandon has written a letter to Kamal Nath late on Saturday night, directing him to get a confidence vote in the assembly soon after the Governor’s address to the assembly session starting March 16.
