Mumbai: In view of the growing threat of Coronavirus across the country, the big personalities of Bollywood and cricket have come forward and have started donating large sums of money in the time of this crisis due to coronavirus epidemic.

The husband-wife duo i.e. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and film star Anushka Sharma also announced through social media this morning that they too have financially contributed through PM CARES Fund and Maharashtra’s CM Relief Fund. However, she did not give information about how much they donated.

But according to the report of ABP News Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have together donated an amount of Rs 3 crore. Giving information to ABP News, an industry source said that both have given total financial assistance of Rs 3 crore to the PM CARES Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

It is worth mentioning that through a joint statement released on social media, Anushka and Virat had expressed concern about the current situation in the country due to Coronavirus and said that they are very hurt due to the suffering of the people of the country and they hope that their this contribution helped in reducing the pain of their countrymen.
