Vivo India donates more than one lakh masks to Maharashtra government to fight against Coronavirus

Vivo India: China’s smartphone manufacturer Vivo India has donated one lakh masks to the Maharashtra government keeping in mind the safety during the coronavirus spread in India. Apart from this, the company has also donated 5,000 N95 masks.

The company says that health workers are facing a lot of trouble in the event of lockdown in the country due to Coronavirus. In this case, the mask will help them a lot. Health Minister Rajesh Tope in the Maharashtra government has praised this commendable move by Vivo.

At the same time, Vipu’s brand strategy director Nipun Mariya said, “In this hour of crisis it is important that we all remain united and contribute to this global epidemic. We plan to postpone the launch of all our new products during this period. We salute the role of health workers in these critical times and want to help with the government.’

Before that, Xiaomi has also announced the distribution of one lakh N95 masks in India. According to Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain, all these masks will be distributed in states like Delhi, Punjab, and Karnataka. Apart from this, the company will also give special suits to doctors of institutes like All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS (AIIMS).
