Mumbai: Private sector Yes Bank said on Saturday that it will contribute Rs 10 crore to the PM Cares fund to help in efforts to prevent coronavirus infection. The bank said in a statement, “Yes Bank supports the Prime Minister’s call to overcome the challenges caused by COVID-19. In view of this, a contribution of Rs 10 crore will be made in the PM Cares Fund.”
Pune-based IT company Persistent Systems has also announced a grant of Rs 25 crore to the fund. Multiplex operator Inox also said that it would give Rs 5 crore to the PM Cares fund.

Elderly woman Lilavati Jain has donated a total of 1 lakh 6 thousand 101 rupees in PM Cares Fund. Lilavati Jain, an elder of Kota who has crossed 100 years of life, has emerged as an example of extends the hands of the help growing amidst the war against Coronavirus.
Calling her entire family, Lilavati asked for support money in the PM Cares Fund to help the coronavirus victims and started it herself and donated her lifetime earnings. Lilavati also wanted to give the check of this donation to the administration with her own hands. Later, ADM City RD himself heard the request of the elderly woman.
Meena and Deputy Director of Information Public Relations Department Hariom Gurjar arrived at her residence in the cantonment and received the check from them. During this time, the administration of Kota also appreciated the spirit of Lilavati Jain and called upon the people to take inspiration from it.
